ADIOScan ™ is an application that allows you to design interactive documents, accessible with different possibilities of interaction (scan with the USB Key device or direct with the mouse) and with different possibilities of result (visual and acoustic feedback).
It is possible to prepare communication tables and “trees” using the incremental and alternative communication (CAA) approach. This tool therefore allows you to write, read, print and record pictographic and / or alphabetical messages, reorder words or phrases, prepare exercises, quizzes, etc.where the person with disabilities can use all the functions of writing the computer, as well as browsing between pages and documents, vocal synthesis and sound reproduction.
It is an application that falls within the range of author systems, i.e. applications capable of providing the user with a tool to create their own multimedia activities. ADIOScan ™ is an author system designed to allow teachers, parents and therapists to design their lessons and adapt them to the computer access methods of their students with disabilities.
When building a communication table, a lesson, an exercise, an application is compared with a “ sheet ” of work, empty “ black ”, but rich in properties thanks to which it can transform, without constrictions of content or other,what he wants to teach in the most appropriate way to the needs of the student and according to the didactic settings he deems most appropriate.
