About the software
The HOMER Pro® microgrid software by UL Solutions is the global standard for optimizing microgrid design in all sectors, from village power and island utilities to grid-connected campuses and military bases. Originally developed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and enhanced and distributed by UL Solutions, HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Multiple Energy Resources) nests three powerful tools in one software product, so that engineering and economics work side by side.
HOMER examines all possible combinations of system types in a single run, and then sorts the systems according to the optimization variable of choice.
HOMER Pro features our new optimization algorithm that significantly simplifies the design process for identifying least-cost options for microgrids or other distributed generation electrical power systems. HOMER Optimizer™ is a proprietary “derivative free” optimization algorithm that was designed specifically to work in HOMER.

Homer Pro v3.14.2 System Requirements
- HOMER Pro and HOMER Grid are Windows-based applications that require Windows Vista or “above,” i.e., Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or higher. It will not run on Windows XP. (Windows XP users must use HOMER 2.)
How to Download and Install Homer Pro v3.14.2
- Click on the download button(s) below and finish downloading the required files. This might take from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on your download speed.
- Extract the downloaded files. If you don’t know how to extract, see this article. The password to extract will always be: www.mysoftwarefree.com
- Run HomerPro-3.14.2_x64.exe and install the software.
- Copy HomerModel.dll and HomerPro.exe from the Crack folder into your installation directory, and replace the previous file.
- You now have the full version of Homer Pro v3.14.2 (x64) installed on your PC.
